BRCSS - Building Resarch Capabilities in the Social Sciences Network.

The BRCSS Network brings together 36 existing medium-term strategic research projects to extend them into new areas based on themes of:
- New wealth creation and distribution systems in a globalised context
- Social justice and development
- Transmission of wealth/knowledge in a context of demographic change
- Sustainability of diverse households, communities and settlements.

EWAS - Enhancing Wellbeing in an Ageing Society

EWAS is a multi-year research programme being carried out in Aotearoa New Zealand by The Family Centre Social Policy Research Unit and the
University of Waikato Population Studies Centre
. The programme is funded by the New Zealand Public Good Science Fund which is administered by The Foundation for Research Science and Technology (FRST) . Funding for EWAS runs from 2004 to 2009. As its name suggests, EWAS is concerned to improve the future wellbeing of older people. It will do this by providing new knowledge that will assist policymakers and stakeholders to develop policies and interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes for all age, gender and ethnic groups in an ageing New Zealand society

The Ministry of Social Development

The Ministry of Social Development provides government with advice on strategic social policy, sectoral policy and social research and evaluation in the areas of income support, child, youth and family as well as community. They are also responsible for providing policy advice and support through the Offices for the Community and Voluntary Sector, Senior Citizens and Disability Issues

FRST - The Foundation for Research, Science & Technology.

The Foundation for Research, Science and Technology (FRST) invests in research, science and technology (RS&T) on behalf of Government to enhance the wealth and well-being of New Zealanders. As the largest single investor in RS&T, it plays a key role in facilitating participation in the achievement of economic, environmental and social benefits.

The Oxford Institue of Ageing

The Oxford Institute of Ageing is fully committed to the belief that the production of high quality, strategic research -which informs and is informed by good policy and practice- will lead to a greater understanding of societies as they age and ultimately to better lives for older people.

Dulwich Centre

The Dulwich Centre is an independent centre in Adelaide, Australia involved in narrative therapy, community work, training, publishing and co-hosting international conferences.

SPEAR - The Social Policy Evaluation and Research Committee.

The Social Policy Evaluation and Research Committee, or SPEaR, is a coordination hub for government agencies and the social research and evaluation sector to improve capability, capacity and outcomes.
